Our Declaration of Faith

SeedCare International Ministries believes on the following:

Eternal Godhead
We believe in one God, who has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

1 John 5:7 (KJV) “For there are three that bear record in heaven – the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these three are ONE…”

Matthew 28:19 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Lordship of Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, his deity, his virgin birth, his sinless humanity, his atoning death and bodily resurrection, his ascension, his present mediatorial work at the right hand of the Father, and his second coming in power and glory.

John 1:1 & 14 (KJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Matthew 1:23 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Philippians 2:6-11(KJV) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Ephesians 4:10 (KJV) He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.

Hebrews 10:12 (KJV) But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 9:28 (KJV) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Holy Scriptures
We believe that all Scripture, both the Old and New Testaments, are inspired by God, and therefore are the supreme and final authority for faith and conduct.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Peter 1:21 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Fall of Man
We believe that God created man in his own image, sinless and in fellowship with God. But by sinning, death was brought to all men. Consequently, all men are sinful in nature and in need of forgiveness and restoration.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Romans 5:12(NIV) “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, in this way death came to all men, because all have sinned.”

God’s Plan of Redemption through Jesus Christ
We believe that God plans to redeem humanity from the power of sin, death and eternal punishment and to give mankind eternal life through the priceless shed blood of Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 (KJV) “For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten SON, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

1 John 5:11-12 (KJV) 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

1 Timothy 2:5-6 (KJV) 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Salvation through Grace
We believe that we are saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ, and by faith alone.

Ephesians 2:8-9(KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 3:24 (KJV) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Repentance and Acceptance
We believe that those who repent receive forgiveness of sins, and that by the power of the Holy Spirit are born into the family of God, as faithful disciples joyfully obeying the Word of God.

1 John 1:9 (KJV) 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

John 1:12 (KJV) 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

New Birth
We believe that all who are so justified are born again and receive eternal life which is Christ in us, the hope of glory. However, those who have not been born again shall not see the Kingdom of God.

John 3:3 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Colossians 1:27 (KJV) 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

The Church of Christ
We believe that all who put truly their faith in Jesus and who are baptized by the Spirit are united as one body in Christ and constitute the true church of Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit creates unity among Christians regardless of race, nationality, and diversity in denominations.

1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV) Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Ephesians 2:16 (KJV) And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Colossian 1: 24 (KJV) Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church.

Revelation 5:9 (KJV) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

The Christian Life
We believe in the indwelling and empowerment of the Holy Spirit which transforms every Christian into the image of Christ. By the grace of God, Christians should seek to live a holy life acceptable unto God. In striving for perfection, Christian recognizes their complete dependence on God, and their constant need of His forgiveness and cleansing grace. We believe that every Christian has material and spiritual gifts to contribute to build the body of Christ.

Joel 2:28-29 (KJV) 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:6-8 (KJV) 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Tithes and Offerings
We believe in returning our tithes, and in bringing our firstfruits and offerings.

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Exodus 23:19 19 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (KJV) 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Sharing Abundance
We believe in sharing our abundance to other members of the body of Christ.

2 Corinthians 8:7 7 But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you[a]—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

2 Corinthians 8:13-15 13 Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. 14 At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, 15 as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.”

Concerns for Others
We believe that we must have concerns for the hurts and social needs of our fellowmen.

Galatians 2:10 (KJV) 10 Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

Proverbs 29:7 (KJV) The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.

James 1:27 (KJV) Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

The Gospel and Our Mission
We believe that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, and that Christ commands us to go and make disciples of all nations.

Romans 1:16 (KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth..”

Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
