In 1984, I finished my degree in Bachelor of Science in business administration major in Management. During this time, many campus leaders invited students to share the Word of God. Being the eldest in the family, I knew all along that I should be the bread winner, so I was skeptical to accept God’s calling. However, the calling inside of me was so strong, and because of church leaders’ perseverance, I was converted to Christianity. I became a follower of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. From that day on, I started to attend the church regularly. I was trained and discipled to become one of the workers of the church. I accepted the calling of God with all my heart. I believe that God is in control, so I put all my trusts in Him.

OUR MINISTRIES

The church that we established started only with one couple. I remember we started to share the Word of God to this couple under a mango tree. Imagine, we worshipped and shared the Word of God under the heat of the sun and at times under the heavy rain. With God’s Guidance and with the support of the people in the community, we were able to find a room, no longer under the mango tree. We were very thankful to God for providing us a room where we can freely worship without heat of the sun and no rain.

By God’s Grace, Mercy, and Provisions, we now have two outreach churches where we can worship, serve the Lord, and help the people. It has been almost 20 years now that we can do a variety of ministries in these two churches. The ministries that we do are: sharing and preaching the Word of God, showing films about the Love of God, training and equipping the members, evangelism, “feeding the hungry” program, and last but not least providing daily necessary supplies for the less fortunate people.

Our main goal is to reach out to the tribes, indigenous groups of people, reach out to different islands, provinces, malls, parks, and small houses of squatters. It has been our heart’s desires to share the Word of God to all the people in the province of Romblon until the imminent return of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
