PASTOR ROSALIE UGDAL

WORLD MISSION OUTREACH FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte

I was 12 years old when I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Seeking the Lord through His word, attending church regularly, and supporting the ministry became the routine of my life. But, one day, I had another astonishing personal encounter with God and that’s when He opened my mouth to speak in an uncommon language. This experience brought a new level of intimacy in my relationship with God. When I was working as a Ward Nurse, one of my patients encouraged me to attend the discipleship training in their community church. This paved the way for me to answer His call – I left my job in the hospital, enrolled in a Bible school, and entered in the ministry full-time.

My first ministry exposure was in 2001 at Gutalac, Dipolog City; then I was assigned to evangelize in University of Mindanao High in Davao City for one year. After a year, God sent me to Bukidnon to become a pioneering pastor to a Matigsanob Tribe, an indigent community for two years. While serving Him and His people, I met my husband who is also a Pastor and we both felt like the Lord was sending us back to our home province, Zamboanga
del Norte and settled us in Dapitan City.

OUR MINISTRIES

We tried to evangelize as many souls as we could but there were times when we almost gave up due to the long distances and rough roads we had to travel every day to reach out children in remote villages. We used tricycle
every Sunday and even in our outreaches for children’s ministry. Our focus is building godly Christian character amongst children and youth around the community, feeding the children twice a month, and impacting the lives of tribal people in the mountain area with the love of God.

HOW YOU CAN INVEST IN ETERNITY

The tithes and offerings are used towards the renovation of the church building due to the damages on the roof and part of the wall. We feel this is a more urgent need due to safety reasons. The church cannot afford to bring all the volunteers in our outreaches due to lack of funds. The church also needs a tricycle to be able to access the outreaches and other areas for evangelism and discipleship training. We appeal to you, our potential supporters, we need your continuing help and we covet your valuable time for prayer, and need your generous heart to give. With your support, we can advance the kingdom of God in Zamboanga and glorify Him in all aspects of our lives.
