PASTOR RAMIL CECILIO
JESUS CHRIST OUR FAITH MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
Laguna, Philippines
I was a drug addict. At the age of 12, I became a leader of the Sputnik gang. In 1986, I was imprisoned on charges of robbery-homicide and murder and was sentenced to two terms of reclusion perpetua life (20-40 years of imprisonment). However, in 1998, an evangelist came to our prison and shared the Word of God.
He gave me a Bible to read. I recognized that I was a sinner in need of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I meditated on the Word of God day and night, and my life gradually turned around.
By God’s mercy, I was granted a presidential pardon on December 28, 1999. Since then, I have dedicated my life to reaching out to inmates in jails, to drug addicts who have surrendered themselves to the Philippine government, and to poor youngsters in our village.
OUR MINISTRY
It’s our desire to continue Jesus Christ ministry here on earth by winning souls and making disciples for Him.
My wife is also my partner in this ministry. She helps with the children and parents by teaching them the Word of God. Witnessing the goodness of God in my life is instrumental to winning souls, which gave birth to our prison ministry in Laguna and Muntinlupa.
As conversion of inmates increase, we realized we need to register our church so we can formally provide training for leaders, and a place for regular praise, worship and study of the Word of God time.
What we also do are house-to-house evangelism, feeding the children program, home bible studies, and youth camps.
